QUESTIONS
The things people ask us most
How far in advance should I book?
For local moves, 2–4 weeks ahead is usually enough. Interstate and end-of-month moves need more notice — peak periods like school holidays and Fridays book out quickly. If your date is tight, call us and we'll tell you honestly whether we can cover it.
How is my quote calculated?
On the size of your move, the access at both addresses, the distance and any extras like packing or storage. You get one clear figure up front. We don't add surprises on the day.
Are my belongings insured?
Yes. We carry public liability cover and handle every item as though it were our own. For antiques, artwork and high-value pieces we'll talk you through the specific care and cover before moving day.
What can't you move?
Hazardous goods — flammables, fuel, gas bottles, paint, chemicals, explosives, fireworks and some batteries. We also recommend you personally carry cash, jewellery, medication and important documents.
What happens if it rains?
We keep going. Protective blankets, plastic covers and careful loading keep your furniture and boxes dry. Melbourne weather is not a reason to reschedule your move.
